10 successful agrifood clusters have joined forces in the European Food Alliance.
Their objective? Working with the latest technologies and with top experts from all over Europe, testing and launching innovative ideas, products and ingredients at European level.
On top of that, EFA members have a common goal: to provide agrifood companies the best service and network contacts from all over Europe in order to be able to attain to innovation and growth at an accelerated rate.

EFA members are designing a common identity and organize joint communication actions as here during NutrEvent in Lille.
European Technology Platforms (ETPs) are industry-led, public/private partnerships encouraged by the European Commission to drive innovation and unite stakeholder communities in reaching strategic research objectives of key European industry sectors.
Theses ETPs are designed to strengthen the European innovation process, improve knowledge transfer and stimulate European competitiveness across the food chain. ETP “Food for Life” addresses innovation in the agri-food sector, which is the largest manufacturing sector within the EU.
NHL cluster is a member of Food for Life France which goal is to represent the French Food sector within the global Food For Life platform and then to push the strategic innovation and research priorities of the French actors on the European Agenda.
NutrEvent and BioFIT, 2 international conventions organized by NHL cluster are also precious tools when it comes to developing our international network.
NHL cluster is also very active in setting up or supporting the development of European projects (Interreg, Horizon 2020), involving directly the cluster or its members.
